Gettin’ Up – The Video

I’ve been waiting ages for his new music.  The media have been talking about his album for years, Kamaal The Abstract, then Q-Tip again, and I was lost.  Finally, the man we know from Native Tongue supagroup “A Tribe Called Quest” returns.  “The Renaissance” will be in stores soon (let’s hope) and I heard a while ago that they were shooting a video for “Gettin’ Up”; well, the result of it has hit the internet (finally).  There’s a nice interview with Q-Tip in Issue 28 of my favorite magazine (Wax Poetics) and for those who never heard tracks of “The Renaissance“, it’s a good album although I miss some of that fresh “Native Tongue” vibe.
