It’s Thursday, my first show in a new era (Go Barack!); You know the deal, straight from Brussels, Nationwide on radiowaves and Worldwide right here (download it) it’s The Hop. 55 minutes of madness starting of with soulful singer Jesse Boykins III and Dert (a song for Obama); a nice version of Dilla’s “Won’t Do” by frenchman Dela. Brittany Bosco is part of it, and so is Five Corners Quintet. And make sure to check People Under The Stairs with their version of P.E.’s “Public Enemy N°1“…now, click on the image:

Re: The new era..its…time for worldwide family heads to start blasting (on heavy rotation) two classics that predicted all this: Sam Cooke’s “Change Gonna Come”..and the Godfather of Soul’s “Say it Loud (I’m Barack and Proud)”: listen closely to the kids in the chorus..and you’ll hear they are announcing the arrival of Barack 40 years later. Indeed in that same year the late Bobby Kennedy predicted the USA would elcct a black president in 40 years…BTW: Did anyone hear from Blowfly last week?
