Tuesday it’s France independence day, (le 14 Juillet c’est la fête nationale) therefore there’s plenty of things to do in the capital the night before (as everybody has a day off) but of course you wouldn’t miss the “Wide Style” party @ Bellevilloise, organised by La Rafinerie and Rockers International. Did you see the line-up? Toshio, Shuya of Kyoto Jazz Massive, Eddy Meets Yannah from Croatia, Jazzanova, local hero Jazzamar and of course Gilles Peterson. Man, I might come down just for that, living one hour away from Paris by TGV, that shouldn’t be a problem right? See you there….maybe!
